BevBev Webb - Church Leader


Bev is married to Clive and has two grown up children: Nick and Charlotte. Bev co-ordinates the UK support and arranges bi-annual teams to Thailand. She is working for City Life and New Community in areas of the pastoral and  working with the poor. She takes a team to Thailand each year. Her passion is seeing God restore broken lives and building people into a loving community.

 

 

paulPaul Woodman - Church Leader



Paul is married to Susannah and they have two children: Hannah and Luke. They live near Oasis Academy Mayfield where Paul is Chaplain and where he leads Oasis Church Mayfield. They lead Messy Church every Sunday, 5pm at St Andrews in Sholing.  Paul is chair of trustees for the Hampshire HIV Charity, Groundswell. Paul is a Southampton Football Club season ticket holder. danDan Pooley - Community Development Manager 


Dan is married to Mel and they live on the Flowers Estate. They have two children: Bethea and Joha.  Dan is part of the leadership team and has a specific role to develop engagement with the community around 286. He also takes teams out regularly to work with the poor in India. He is passionate about seeing people encounter Jesus for themselves and come into a greater experience of his power at work in their lives.       Follow danpooley78 on Twitter

 

 

nickyNicky PorterPastoral Leader & The Gate Project Manager


Nicky came to Southampton 20 years ago on a gap year and never left! She works full-time as part of the Pastoral Team and is involved in healing prayer and working with the vulnerable. She leads a team supporting residents living at the YMCA and is part of the team running the Community Cafe, providing a free weekly meal to the vulnerable & street homeless. Nicky has a passion to see broken hearts healed and for people to find their place of belonging in God's family.  She also likes a competitive game of table-tennis and sharing food with friends!  

           

andyAndy Morgan - Youth Worker


Andy is married to Lindsey. They have a daughter, Olivia. Andy heads up the church's growing youth work, working with young people in the church, and in Sholing running activities at St Andrews and Oasis Academy Mayfield. He is also involved in The Mark Drama and is passionate about seeing young people in a living and personal relationship with Jesus.

Paul has been a part of City Life Church for many years and started working as a Project Manager for the church in 2008.  A majority of Paul's time is spent developing the CLEAR project working with refugees and asylum seekers in Southampton. He also oversees the church's partnerships overseas. Paul is married to Gill.

Karen has worked for City Life since 1999 and takes care of the charity's book-keeping and projects. She has been part of the church for over 30 years, and is a regular contributor to Sunday meetings. She is married to Pete and has three grown up children. Karen works Monday to Thursday at the church office.

Wendy works on Friday mornings and is responsible for Safeguarding arrangements, preparing the church newsletter and volunteer rotas.   Wendy is married to Dave and they have two children: Nathan & Adam.

Sue supports the leadership team with organisation and administration, as SCN Administrator & CLEAR Administrator. Sue is married to Pete and they have two children: Sophie-Rose & Miles.
 

VickyVicky Stephens - Leadership Support Worker


Vicky works three days a week alongside Paul Woodman, supporting various city-wide projects. Vicky is married to Andy. They are both actively involved in the worship at Sunday Celebrations as well as with the youth team.

 

 

 

The Gate:

Sharon came to university in Southampton and ended up living here. She works 12 hours a week for The Gate, doing outreach and support work with women involved in prostitution and the rest of the week she is a taxi service for her 2 teenage children, James and Rebekah. She loves having coffee with people, especially if it is good coffee!
